About Us

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) underpinned by a desire to change how public sector procurement works and fight climate change.

We have more than 30 years’ experience assisting public sector establishments with procurement.

We saw an opportunity to change the way that public sector procurement works, making the process more efficient and effective, enabling organisations to make significant cost savings, and introducing a strong Social Value and Net Zero agenda.

Our frameworks are designed so that your organisation doesn’t have to run a full tendering process for each new supply contract, saving you considerable time and money.

We are regulated by the office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies.

Two thirds of our profits must be dispensed for the good of our community. We are committed to ensuring that these profits are used to fight climate change and support organisations and projects that enhance young peoples’ life chances.

As such, we may fund a project or service in your local area, or purchase additional capital equipment for you to further enhance the services you deliver.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • Community Interest Companies (CIC’s) are limited companies that operate to provide a benefit to the community they serve. They are not strictly 'not for profit' as they can, and do, deliver returns to investors. However, the purpose of CIC is primarily one of community benefit rather than private profit.

Whilst returns to investors are permitted, these must be balanced and reasonable, to encourage investment in the social enterprise sector whilst ensuring true community benefit is always at the heart of any CIC.

  • Our social investment fund will add Social Value to our public sector customers by providing grants for projects that fight climate change and enhance young peoples’ life chances, target marginal public services, and are local to our customer’s CSR programmes.

When applying, your application will go before the Community Projects Committee, who will assess all applications and select projects using a fair and consistent set of award criteria.
